CEE 3351 - Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health


Credits: 3

Presents the recognition, evaluation, and control of health hazards in the working environment. Examines principles of industrial toxicology, risk assessment and/or management, occupational diseases, and occupational health standards. Also, the application of industrial hygiene principles and practice and the measurement and control of atmospheric contaminants. Introduces the design and evaluation of occupational exposure controls. Lecture and 3 hours of laboratory. Prerequisite: CEE 2321 .
