ITOM 2308 - Information Systems for Management

Credits: 3

Discusses computer technologies for the management of information resources in business. Covers spreadsheet analytical tools for data analysis, reporting, and forecasting. Also includes database design and implementation for data storage, retrieval, aggregation, and reporting as well as the creation of Web pages using HTML. Requires laptops equipped with the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office for use in class. Prerequisite: ITOM 2305  or one from the following: CSE 4340 ; EMIS 3340 ; STAT 2301 , STAT 2331 , STAT 4340 . Reserved for Cox majors and minors in business administration only.
