MUHI 6154 - Practicum in Musicology Pedagogy
Credits: 1
Teaching experience supervised by department. Students are required to attend and observe all music history survey (MUHI 3301 or 3302) class sessions during the semester, as well as sit in on two MUHI 4000 level seminars. Students deliver two lectures for the survey over the course of the semester on topics developed in consultation with the instructor. Students are expected to attend bi-weekly meetings with the MUHI faculty to discuss various topics in musicology pedagogy, including syllabus design, discussion leading, presentations, and assessment design. Prerequisite: MUHI 6335 .
