An introduction to the major forces driving globalization and economic development today, analyzing how these forces impact the lives, cultures, and identities of peoples around the world (with an emphasis on the developing world). Prerequisites: Advanced standing and ANTH 2301  (or permission of instructor for nonanthropology majors).
