EE 8367 - Nonlinear Control

Credits: 3

Introduces methods used to control nonlinear systems. Reviews phase plane analysis of nonlinear systems, Lyapunov theory, nonlinear stability, and describing function analysis. Advanced control techniques include feedback linearization, sliding control, and adaptive control. Emphasizes application of the developed concepts to the robust regulation of the response of nonlinear systems. Prerequisite: EE 7362 .
