FILM 4317 - Film Directing
Credits: 3
Covers all elements of the directing process, with specific emphasis on how the film director works with screen actors and captures actors’ performances to fit the director’s unique vision. Working from a script throughout the term, students learn about script analysis, character outline, casting, rehearsals, and on-set direction. Students create a casting notice, hold auditions, and work with professional and/or student actors. Prerequisite: FILM 1304 .
