CS 7344 - Computer Networks and Distributed Systems II

Introduction to network protocols, layered communication architecture, multimedia applications and protocols, QoS, congestion control, optical networks, DWDM, network survivability and provisioning, and wireless networks. Includes an interdisciplinary project requiring the use of currently available network design and simulation tools. Prerequisite: Knowledge of material taught in CS 4344.
