Introduces problems, algorithms, and optimization techniques used in the design of high-performance VLSI design. Emphasis on algorithms for partitioning, placement, floor planning, wire routing, and layout compaction. Prerequisites: Knowledge of material taught in CS 3353, CS 3381.
