CS 8315 - Software Acquisition, Legal, and Economic Issues

Examines issues relating to software procurement, contract law, and specification and control of product processes. Topics include factors that affect cost, cost estimation, cost-benefit analysis, risk analysis, and legal implications with respect to ownership and use.
