PR 6300 - Introduction to Preaching
Credits: 3
An introduction to preaching, focusing on the preparation and delivery of the sermon. Attention is given to the theology of preaching, form, content, and style of the sermon; the liturgical and social context in which the sermon is preached; and the person of the preacher. Prerequisites: HX 6305 or HX 6306 , and NT 6301 /OT 6301 or NT 6302 /OT 6302 . Prerequisite or corequisite: XS 6310 .
