AERO 4432 - National Security, Leadership Responsibilities and Commissioning Preparation

Credits: 4

Examines the need for national security; analyzes the evolution and formulation of the American defense policy, strategy, and joint doctrine; investigates the methods for managing conflict; and provides an overview of regional security, arms control and terrorism. Special topics of interest focus on the military as a profession, officership, the military justice system, civilian control of the military, preparation for active duty, and current issues affecting military professionalism.
