JOUR 4350 - Human Rights and the Journalist

Credits: 3

Students analyze current human rights issues and the ways U.S. and international media cover these issues. Topics include the role of images in conveying the harsh truth of any human rights story, and the ways new media formats, shrinking budgets, etc. are changing the way journalists who cover these stories do their job.
