Overview of basic fingerspelling techniques to improve receptive and expressive fingerspelling skills. Receptive skills emphasize whole-word and phrase recognition as well as identifying fingerspelling words in context. Expressive skills concentrate on the development of speed; clarity; and fluency of fingerspelled words, loan signs, and numbers. Prerequisite: Completion of ASL 2301 with a minimum grade of C-.
