EMIS 7305 - Systems Reliability and Availability Analysis

Reliability and availability modeling and analysis methods are applied to perform cost-effectiveness analysis during development of aerospace and defense systems, as well other types of systems. Topics include systems reliability and availability models and analysis methods; requirements analysis to determine fleet size; system effectiveness and life cycle cost analysis methods; and analysis of systems mission reliability, sustainment reliability and systems availability, both inherent and operational, during design and development of a product and associated support system.  Prerequisite: EMIS 3361 or EMIS 3340/STAT 4340 or EMIS 7300  or EMIS 7370 .
