FINA 5343 - Markets and Financial Intermediation

Analyzes the structural interrelationships among the important participants in the U.S. financial markets and the management of financial institutions. Topics include flows of funds, determinants of interest rates, monetary policy and interest rates, money and capital market instruments, commercial banks and other lending institutions, regulation of financial institutions, and risk management in financial institutions. Prerequisites: FINA 4325  and FINA 4125 . Restricted to Cox majors.
