BUSE 3208 - Special Topics in Energy Economics

Credits: 2

Designed to provide the energy student with an overview of the foundations of economic and financial analysis of the sectors of the energy value chain to prepare them for more advanced energy finance courses covering valuation, risk management, and real options. By exploring the financial and operational metrics, students gain a better knowledge of the different sectors of the oil and gas industry, their unique business cycles, and operational challenges.
