ECO 4370 - Computing for Economics Credits: 3
Emphasis on learning computer programs commonly used in economics with the objective of teaching programming skills used in data discovery and summarization, graphics, file manipulation, iterative procedures, and simulations. Programs could include SAS, R, PYTHON, STATA, SPSS, MATLAB, and SQL. Prerequisites: C- or better in ECO 3301 , ECO 3302 , and ECO 4350 ; MATH 1309 or MATH 1337 ; and STAT 2331 or STAT 4340 .
