FINA 4346 - Fundamentals of Financial Diligence

Focuses on the evaluation of the quality of reported earnings; identifies the value drivers critical to the investment decision; examines capital investment requirements, determination of the firm’s leverageable cash flow, and financing alternatives, understanding the target’s tax position and structuring of the deal. Financial diligence is a natural place for students to learn about the intersection of accounting and finance, which serve as a bridge to understand the similarity, differences, and intersection across the two fields. Prerequisites: ACCT 3312 , FINA 4325 , FINA 4125 . Restricted to Cox majors.
