ASL 1401 - Beginning American Sign Language I Credits: 4
An introductory study of grammar and language, with an emphasis on developing question-and-answer skills. The student learns conversational strategies to help maintain a conversation. Prerequisites: Restricted to students who have no prior ASL experience or have been placed into ASL 1401 by the ASL placement exam. Enrollment permission from the Second Language Adviser is required to enroll.
