FILM 3303 - Screenwriting for Feature Film
Credits: 3
Students produce a first draft of a feature screenplay. Review of proper format and act structure leads to a more in-depth exploration of story, character, dialogue, scenes and scene sequencing, narrative devices, and the emotional payoff. Work includes step outlines of each act, scene readings, and collective feedback, culminating in a fully realized first-draft screenplay. Prerequisites: FILM 2301 and FILM 2303 .
