Explores how emerging technologies disrupt industries and create opportunities for innovative startups. Students learn to apply the principles of disruptive innovation to evaluate real-world industries and identify technologies with the potential to transform markets. Through case studies, frameworks, and experiential projects, the course examines founder strategies for launching, scaling, and positioning startups in rapidly changing competitive landscapes. The course also addresses the broader ethical, societal, and policy implications of technological disruption, equipping students to think critically about the impact of innovation.
