CISB 6226 - Evaluating Entrepreneurial Opportunity

Credits: 2

Provides students with a disciplined framework for testing and validating new venture ideas before committing resources. Students learn to identify real customer segments, uncover and assess unmet needs, analyze best current alternatives, and design minimum viable product (MVP) tests to evaluate assumptions in the field. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based decision making and the ability to advance, refine, or abandon ideas based on results, avoiding the common trap of pursuing flawed concepts.
