ACCT 6230 - Analysis of Sustainability Information

Credits: 2

Provides guidance on how to synthesize information from corporate sustainability disclosures into assurance as well as traditional financial and valuation analyses. Students explore key topics such as external assurance, ESG ratings, sustainability investment strategies, and shareholder activism, gaining insights into how sustainability information impacts investment decisions. Also examines the role of ESG indices, NGOs, and proxy voting guidelines in shaping corporate accountability and financial performance.
