Students identify and apply key laws impacting healthcare management and public health in healthcare settings. In addition, students analyze and navigate risks within a healthcare setting (with assessments and analytics). Students also focus on strategy and planning to mitigate risks and ensure compliance to protect organizational value, and stakeholders, including patients. Restricted to students in the online master of legal studies degree plan, or departmental permission for students in other degree plans.(*updated* 1/9/2026; effective spring 2026)
