RE 6226 - Applied RE Practice Capstone Credits: 2
Designed to guide part-time M.S.R.E. students through the capstone project process from start to finish. Each student completes a minimum of 90 hours of independent research, with bi-monthly progress submissions to ensure steady advancement toward a high-quality final paper. As part of the project, students are required to personally interview 10–12 real estate professionals within their chosen sector, gaining valuable insights and real-world perspectives. The use of AI tools for research, writing, or presentation is not permitted—students are expected to develop an original, industry-ready white paper that demonstrates both depth of research and professional rigor. In addition, students enrolled in this course complete weekly networking and social media engagement requirements to help build industry connections and broaden the reach of their work. Prerequisite or corequisite: RE 6411 and enrollment in the M.S.R.E. program. (*updated* 12/4/2025)
