BIOL 4311 - Biological Chemistry: Metabolism

Introduction to the pathways and regulatory events in the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, and nucleotides. Includes 3 hours of lecture each week. Prerequisites: C- or better in the following: BIOL 1301 /BIOL 1101 , BIOL 1302 /BIOL 1102 , and CHEM 3372 . If CHEM 4311 is counted toward a chemistry major or minor, it cannot be counted toward a biological sciences major or minor. (effective January 2026)
