MATH 1303 - Precalculus for Business

Credits: 3

Inequalities, absolute value, graphs, functions, basic analytic geometry, polynomials, logarithms, exponentials, linear equations, and mathematics of finance. Prerequisite: high school algebra. Intended only for students planning to take MATH 1309 . If students have existing credit (transfer or otherwise) for any mathematics course with an SMU undergraduate course catalog number, they may not enroll in MATH 1303 without departmental permission.
