A 15-hour minor is offered in three tracks: archaeology, cultural anthropology or general anthropology; an 18-hour track may be taken in biomedical anthropology. A grade of C- or better must be earned in all advanced courses taken in fulfillment of the requirements for an anthropology minor. Students must take nine credit hours of advanced coursework. Students may choose to take a topics course (ANTH 3330 , ANTH 3331 , ANTH 4191 , ANTH 4192 , ANTH 4291 , ANTH 4292 , ANTH 4350 , ANTH 4351 , ANTH 4352 , ANTH 4381 , ANTH 4390 , ANTH 4391 , ANTH 4392 ) in one of the subfields to count toward the minor. Students pursuing a major in anthropology may not also pursue the minor.
