The Bachelor of Music in Performance prepares undergraduates for a performance career and for private studio teaching. This program of study provides a balanced performance curriculum of solo/chamber repertoire and orchestral excerpts together with performance in chamber and large ensembles throughout the four-year degree.
The credit hour requirements for a major in bassoon, clarinet, euphonium, flute, French horn, oboe, saxophone, trombone, trumpet or tuba performance are below. Saxophone and euphonium performance majors do not require enrollment in PERE 5018 /PERE 5118 unless specifically requested by the ensemble director. The saxophone performance major may require enrollment in PERE 5015 /PERE 5115 - Meadows Jazz Orchestra .
