Environmental Anthropology Minor

The minor in environmental anthropology provides students with a foundation in concepts and theories about human-environment relationships, an understanding of human-environment interaction from the past to the present, and prepares them to be environmentally conscious global citizens moving forward.

The minor requires 15 credit hours of coursework. Nine credit hours must be taken in advanced coursework (3000 level or above). A grade of C- or better must be earned in all courses taken in fulfillment of the minor. Anthropology majors may not minor in environmental anthropology. No more than one course (3 credit hours) satisfying the Environmental Anthropology minor can also satisfy another program.
