Degree Requirements

To obtain the M.S. degree in geophysics, the student must have:

  1. Passed a general qualifying examination.
  2. Written and successfully defended a thesis.
  3. Successfully completed a minimum of 30 credit hours of graduate study acceptable to the departmental faculty, including:
