Church Music Minor

The minor in church music offers an introduction to the theory and practice of church music to students of any major, with some music background, who wish to serve the church in some musical capacity. The minor serves the mission of the Music Division of the Meadows School of the Arts by introducing students to an interdisciplinary vocation at the intersection of musical practice and scholarship. It draws upon the significant resources of both the Meadows School and the Perkins School of Theology in shaping the next generation of church musicians.
