Degree Requirements
This degree plan is specifically developed for students interested in a career in exploration in the petroleum industry. To obtain the M.S. degree in applied geophysics, the student must:
- Successfully complete a minimum of 33 credit hours of graduate study as specified in the curriculum or acceptable to the departmental faculty.
- Pass a general qualifying examination.
- Complete and successfully defend a project related to some facet of applied geophysics.
Elective Courses
Courses at the 6000-level and above , chosen in consultation with the graduate adviser.
