Students role model as a company’s newest General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer to assess the company’s proposed uses of artificial intelligence and algorithmic decision-making for legal compliance and to mitigate risk. Students analyze algorithms and data sets, manipulate large language models, explore the applicable legal and public policy environment, and develop a legal framework for assessing the company’s plans.
