JOUR 4310 - Editorial and Opinion Writing

Credits: 3

Examines the role of opinion writing in American journalism and teaches techniques that help students develop clear and effective editorials and columns on a range of topics. Emphasizes critical thinking and writing skills. Prerequisites: JOUR 2303 , JOUR 2312 , and JOUR 2314  (or JOUR 2103 , JOUR 2302 , and JOUR 2312  on earlier degree plans). Restricted to fashion media and journalism majors and minors.
