ANTHBM-MN - Anthropology: Biomedical

The biomedical anthropology minor requires 18 credit hours of coursework. Nine credit hours must be taken in advanced coursework (3000 level and above). Students may choose to take a topics course (ANTH 3330, ANTH 3331, ANTH 4350, ANTH 4351, ANTH 4352), an independent study course (ANTH 4191, ANTH 4192, ANTH 4291, ANTH 4292, ANTH 4391, ANTH 4392), or an internship course (ANTH 4381) in one of the subfields to count toward the minor. Students pursuing a major in anthropology may not also pursue the biomedical anthropology minor. Students pursing a major in health and society may pursue a biomedical minor in anthropology, but only six credit hours may be double-counted.
