Applicants to the M.S. with a major in applied science must meet all relevant admission requirements set forth in the Master of Science and Master of Arts Degrees section of this catalog. Additionally, all applicants must secure the approval of a tenured or tenure-track member of the Lyle Engineering faculty to serve as faculty adviser. Thesis track applicants must also submit a tentative supervisory committee form with at least three tenured track Lyle faculty members and submit a research proposal. Admission to and oversight of the program is at the discretion of a designated academic officer in the Lyle School of Engineering Deans Office, who also serves as department chair.
