DE-MSDE - Data Engineering

Graduates will be able to design and implement scalable and fault-tolerant data systems that support acquisition, storage, management, and secure processing of large-scale datasets using appropriate architectures and technologies.

Graduates will be able to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and processing workflows for batch and real-time environments, applying systematic engineering principles for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Graduates will be able to develop and implement data transformation, integration, and analysis algorithms using efficient computational methods and data structures suitable for large-scale environments.

Graduates will be able to design and implement solutions for acquiring, cleaning, and integrating data from diverse sources—including physical devices, APIs, and distributed systems, ensuring data quality and readiness for processing.

Graduates will be able to apply principles of data governance, security, and ethical practices to ensure compliance, privacy, and responsible use of data across systems and processes.
