Liberal StudiesGraduate Liberal StudiesMLS - Master of Liberal Studies

Students develop methods of interdisciplinary humanities-based inquiry at the master's level.

Students will demonstrate graduate level research and writing skills by producing well-organized, accurate, original, and significant content. This should include a clear and central thesis, supporting arguments, unity of thought, academic research, accurate citations, proper spelling and grammar, and a clear conclusion.

Students will listen discerningly as well as speak and present clearly, cogently, and persuasively indifferent contexts to a variety of audiences and cultures.

Students demonstrate knowledge of the theory, skills, and methodologies of interdisciplinary human-centered graduate studies. As part of the Capstone, students participate in a graduate research project, portfolio project, creative project, or service project, culminating in a capstone project or paper and a presentation to a group of their peers and faculty.
