To earn the B.S. degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering, students must complete all University-wide requirements, including the completion of University’s Common Curriculum and satisfy the major requirements listed below, and one of the tracks/specializations. The major requirements for Mechanical Engineering with a Specialization in Premedical/Biomedical are listed separately.

Any deviation from the mechanical engineering curriculum requires approval of a petition submitted by the student to the Mechanical Engineering Department faculty prior to the beginning of the term during which the student expects to complete the requirements for graduation.
