Religious Studies majors will be able to analyze how ritual practices, texts, beliefs, and/or lived experiences function within at least two religious traditions using appropriate scholarly approaches and terminology. The outcome names a skill (the ability to analyze) and the content (specific facets of religion as recognized in academic study).
Religious Studies majors will be able to demonstrate strong research and analytical skills.
Religious Studies majors will be able to demonstrate written communication skills necessary to articulate research findings in the field.Â
Religious Studies majors will be able to demonstrate an understanding of methodologies - such as anthropological, historical, and sociological - employed in the field of Religious Studies.
