Program Description
The Master of Theology program is designed for students to fulfill one or more of three goals: 1) the enhancement of the practice of ministry in a changing church and society through advanced study of a particular theological or pastoral discipline; 2) the examination of a specific aspect of the Christian religion/traditions or function of Christian ministry to seek a deeper understanding of the Christian faith and theology; and 3) the preparation for more advanced study at the doctoral level through rigorous study and research to strengthen the church, academy, and world. Students may choose to focus within one of the following broad divisions:
The Biblical Witness.
The Heritage and Context of Christianity.
The Interpretation of the Christian Witness.
The Theology and Practice of Ministry.
